CCC’s origins date back to 1966 under the name of ‘Custom Coil Coaters’. Based in Walsall, the business experienced quick growth and soon relocated to larger premises in West Bromwich. A few years later, a change of ownership saw the original owner Frederick Cooper depart from his successful business. However, the business was renamed ‘Cooper Coated Coil’ and has traded under this name ever since, subsequently becoming well known around the world as “CCC”.

In January 2005, CCC became part of the Metalrax Group. This global organisation manufactures specialist niche engineered products in a diverse range of industries. This acquisition led in 2006 to the integration of the former "Fabricote" business into CCC.

In 2009, CCC moved from West Bromwich to Wolverhampton following the investment in a new process line. At our current location we offer extensive manufacturing capabilities together with a range of support functions (e.g. sales, logistics, research and development). Added to this is an experienced workforce which has been invaluable in the growth of Cooper Coated Coil.

Today, our history has led us to become the world renowned specialist in the application of non-stick coatings. We supply all of the premium quality metal bakeware manufacturers around the world, with over 40 million pieces of bakeware being made from our coated metal.
