Our Community
Our internal and local communities are vital to our future success - everyone at Cooper Coated Coil is aware of this fact.
Our internal community is ultimately grown through our local community and we understand the need to develop an understanding of our business and its processes.
Our communications are open and we encourage interest in our business which in turn aims to encourage future employment from the local community.
We support local education establishments to introduce manufacturing and engineering as positive contributors to UK growth and as a potential career route.
We support local charity organisations generally associated through our employees interests and families.
Charity Groups
In 2011, we are supporting the following charities
- Compton Hospice.
- Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham.
Community Groups
- Tipton Operatic and Dramatic Society (TOADS)
TOADS has been running since 1993. It is a friendly society which puts on at least two shows each year and and also performs at events for charity. The group is based at Brook Street Community Centre and meets on Wednesday evenings at 7.45pm. New members are always welcome.
- Red Star Tigers FC
The Tigers play in the Beacon League at Claregate Park. CCC were shirt sponsors for the season 2010-2011.
- Wolverhampton City FC
City play in the Beacon League. Following the theft of their football strip, CCC became shirt sponsors for the season 2011-2012.
- Wednesbury Youth Group
This Group provide recreational facilities to 14-18 year olds in the Wednesbury and surrounding areas.
Education
