| WHAT WE DO: Applications |
Applications There are 5 main areas: Bakeware: Non-stick and Easyclean bakeware for domestic and commercial applications. Typical coatings could be Teflon®, Whitford Quantum, Ilag Resist, Weilberger Blade and recently launched Ecobake™ Click for more Appliances: Non-stick, functional and decorative coatings for appliances such as microwaves, coffee machines, deep fat fryers, sandwich toasters, oven trays etc... The requirements are usually for premium performance, long life and aesthetically pleasing products often at high temperatures. The recently launched 3-coat non-stick system TriPlus has lifted performance standards to a new high. Click for more Automotive: applications are usually where a metal is required to be coated with an adhesive suitable for roof ditch rails, body side trim, window sections and other areas where rubber and metal are required to come together. Typical rubbers include PVC, EPDM, Santoprene, PP, PU, TPE/TPO and Nitrile. Rubber Metal Bonding: applications could include safety shoes, washers and any other general application where metal and rubber are required to come together. Building: Section rolling of polyester coated products is the principle application. These products can go into lighting, ceiling, panel and other general applications. Typical systems are High Gloss Polyesters, flexible polyesters and foodsafe products where appearance and manufacturing performance are critical. |
